Review the evidence dossier
Understand the empirical literature before attempting theoretical interpretation.
WP-003 / Theory development methodology
HOMSM is treated as an iterative scientific process rather than a writing exercise. This is the method that keeps the work accountable to evidence.
A guiding philosophy
The theory was not created to organize the evidence. The evidence created the conditions under which the theory became necessary.
01 / Standard workflow
Understand the empirical literature before attempting theoretical interpretation.
Ask what fundamentally exists and whether the phenomenon needs direct representation.
Separate combined literature terms into the phenomena they actually contain.
Record classification, role, evidence, revisions, and candidate laws.
Keep the assumptions, alternatives, breakthroughs, and remaining questions visible.
Carry meaningful decisions into the glossary, roadmap, standards, and theory.
Evaluate whether new findings revise the ontology or sharpen existing constructs.
02 / Scientific commitments
01Evidence precedes theory.
02Ontology precedes manuscript writing.
03Every construct must earn its place.
04Internal coherence takes precedence over tradition.
05Simplicity is preferred, never at the expense of explanatory power.
06Deferred validation is preferable to premature certainty.
The Forge
Scientific maturity is not a theory's resistance to criticism. It is its willingness to invite criticism before empirical investigation begins.
